Aptos, an emerging public chain developed by the core members of Meta’s (formerly Facebook) stablecoin project Diem, has received investment from a16z, BinanceLabs, FTX Ventures, Coinbase Ventures and other top institutions, and has recently attracted market attention.
Aptos announced earlier this month that the Incentive TestNet 2(AIT-2) successfully completed the test and awarded Aptos tokens to participants who met certain conditions.
Yesterday (20), the official announcement again revealed the registration, schedule and incentive standards of incentive Test Network 3(AIT-3) details.
According to the team, AIT-3 brings the last major deliverable function of the main network: on-chain governance and upgrading.
To reflect the real-world environment in which the main network was launched, the number of participants in AIT-3 will be comparable to that in AIT-2, which has about 225 participants.
“Our goal is to ensure that Aptos can launch the main network safely and reliably.
Sometime this winter, we will bring the AIT-4 with a focus on expanding decentralization and further performance optimization.
We look forward to inviting more participants.”
