International crude oil prices have plummeted recently. How much is a barrel of international crude oil now?
According to the editor’s understanding, on January 20, 2015, Brent international crude oil was 47.42 US dollars a barrel.
India’s trade deficit for the month fell to its lowest level in months as India’s gold imports fell sharply in December and crude oil prices slumped.
Data showed that India imported $1.34 billion in gold that month, down sharply from $5.61 billion in the previous month.
The fall in crude oil prices, combined with a drop in gold imports, reduced India’s trade deficit in December to its lowest level since February 2014 to $9.43 million, down 33% month-on-month.
