Aptos, an emerging public chain invested by a16z, BinanceLabs and other top institutions and developed by the core members of Diem, a stablecoin project under Meta, started Incentive Test Network 2(AIT2) on July 12 and ended on July 22. Aptos announced on July 1 that AIT2 had successfully completed the test.
We recently completed a successful AIT2 that brings the Aptos community even closer together. Thank you for joining us and making AIT2 even more successful than AIT1!
According to Aptos, 225 nodes in 110 cities in 44 countries are participating in the Incentive TestNet 2 program, and Aptos will distribute Aptos rewards to participants who meet certain conditions in the Incentive TestNet 2 program.
According to Aptos, to receive the Aptos token reward, the following conditions need to be met: complete all required objectives on time, including joining the verification set within 24 hours and exiting the verification set at the end of the network.
The activity of nodes with push data ¡Ý95% under the indicator definition is met, and the majority of participants achieve this goal.
? 95% or more engagement for consensus proposals per hour, which we have lowered to 90% due to increased attachment and data refresh delays.
Vote in at least 25% of consensus rounds.
Aptos offers the following rewards: Full rewards: 500 Aptos tokens, partial rewards: 300 Aptos tokens, bonus rewards for users who meet all criteria with at least 50% activity, engagement and other criteria: 200 additional Aptos tokens if each of the following criteria is met: 1.
2. Operators who place nodes in remote locations and meet all of the above requirements.
3. Operators who have a proven track record of helping identify critical issues and making significant contributions.
Aptos cautions that, for regulatory reasons, Aptos tokens can only be issued to non-US participants, and that any rewards associated with incentivising the test network can only be issued after successful start-up of the main network, and that any tokens issued by Aptos are subject to a minimum 1-year lock-in period.
Following the successful completion of the Incentive TestNet 2, Aptos stated that the Incentive TestNet 3 will be open for enrollment on August 19, and the Incentive TestNet 3 will be officially launched on August 30, ending on September 9, followed by the main TestNet this fall, and after the main Testnet is online, the Incentive TestNet 4 will be launched this winter.
Aptos mentions that Incentive TestNet 3 will be the last incentive Testnet to run before the main Web launch. Incentive Testnet 4 and other incentive Testnets will be rolled out after the main Web launch, and some features of Incentive TestNet 3 and 4 have been delayed because the project’s roadmap is driven by community feedback and experience.
Aptos concluded that the Aptos team plans to implement the main net code freeze on August 25, and shortly thereafter will release a long standing testnet to better collaborate with the community and prepare the main net.
