The first voyage of the BAYC virtual world game project Otherside was successfully completed yesterday (17th) evening, and a guide to the game Litepaper was released after the event.
What exactly does Litepaper say?
What are the future plans worth looking forward to?
Take a look!
According to Litepaper, Otherside will be a platform for users to play, create, compete and explore together.
The original experience was built by Yuga Labs and Improbable and built on M-squared technology.
Development Phases The development of Otherside is expected to be divided into three phases, with only the holder of the otherdeed (known as Voyager) and selected third party developers being able to participate and contribute in the current first phase.
This stage of the story is divided into 11 parts, centering around a mysterious obelisk that appears in the Otherside universe.
Voyagers can team up together to explore features, participate in exclusive events and playtests, and co-create the Otherside Development Suite (ODK) to help shape the platform’s core features.
Otherside’s development will be open and transparent. In addition to playtesting together, Voyagers will also be able to provide hands-on feedback using a software development kit or in-game builder.
2. Otherdeed NFT is not only a piece of land picture, but also represents the participation qualification of game test.
In addition, each Otherdeed represents a piece of land available in the Otherside, with unique natural elements, resources, attributes, etc.
As Voyager, you will have true ownership and control over it, and you can do whatever you choose.
Otherside will unlock even more interactive possibilities in the future, giving Voyagers the opportunity to bring external collections and NFTS into the Otherside universe, even connecting lands to share creations and experiences.
Otherside aims to deeply connect with its user base and partner with well-known and respected entities in the industry to provide the education, experience, and leadership needed to build the metaverse in the future.
Voyager’s Journey All Voyagers are invited to join in the voyage to learn the basics of Otherside, which is played throughout in a narrative manner.
All Voyagers who complete each stage of the experience according to the rules will be eligible for additional rewards related to Otherside in the future.
The first voyage ended on 7/17 Beijing time, and each subsequent voyage will take place on a different date and accommodate as many Voyagers as possible.
Details of departure times will be posted on Otherside’s social media.
The Otherside Development Suite (ODK) is a set of authoring tools co-developed with Improbable that enables users to create interactive content for Otherside, divided into three main categories: People: contains accounts, lists of friends and identities in Otherside.
Location: A world that can be traversed through the game system.
Things: items that can be carried in different locations, wearable devices, avatars, etc.
Because Otherside was built by the developers and Voyagers, it follows its development standards to make sure everything works.
Otherside plans to develop AgoraAgora, where you can sort, pick, buy and sell all kinds of items that can be used to create or generate revenue in the game.
The goal is to make Agora the fastest, easiest and safest place to participate and enjoy the economic benefits of Otherside.
Ecosystem token ApeCoinApeCoin is the main token of Otherside ecology, which is mainly controlled by the ApeCoin DAO community.
ApeCoin transactions are available on any major decentralized or centralized exchange, and all ApeCoin holders are members of the ApeCoin DAO.
As the Otherside journey progresses, the team will gradually update its Litepaper content, which will eventually be replaced by TheCodex(Journey phase 2) and the Otherside dynamic document.
