On April 12, according to CME’s “Fed Watch”, the probability of the Fed maintaining interest rates in May is 32.6%, and the probability of raising interest rates by 25 basis points to the range of 5.00%-5.25% is 67.4%.
The probability of keeping interest rates unchanged by June is 28.8%, the probability of accumulatively raising interest rates by 25 basis points is 63.3%, and the probability of accumulatively raising interest rates by 50 basis points is 7.9%.
