U.S. Stocks Closed: the Market Focused on CPI Data, the Dow Once Rose More Than 145 Points

On April 12, the market focused on the CPI data released by the United States on Wednesday, and then judged the possibility of the Fed raising interest rates in May.

The Dow initially closed up 100 points, the Nasdaq closed down 0.43%, and the S&P 500 closed flat.

On the disk, the solid-state battery, hydrogen energy, and cruise sectors performed strongly, while the SaaS concept, metaverse concept, and AI sectors performed weakly.

In terms of individual stocks, Boeing (BA.N) closed up 0.7%, Lufax (LU.N) closed up 11%, Tiger Securities (TIGR.O) closed up 6%; Virgin Orbit (VORB.O) closed down 30% %, Microsoft (MSFT.O), Amazon (AMZN.O) closed down 2%, and Apple (AAPL.O) closed down 0.76%.
