Difference Between EIA and IEA

IEA usually refers to the International Energy Agency. The International Energy Agency, also known as the “International Energy Agency”, was established in November 1974 and now has 29 member states: Ireland, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, the Federal Republic of Germany, the Netherlands, Canada, Luxembourg, the United States, Norway, Portugal, Japan, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Spain, Greece, New Zealand, Italy, United Kingdom.


EIA generally refers to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, a statistical agency of the U.S. Department of Energy. The agency provides strong data support for energy regulators to formulate energy policy. EIA’s information is not influenced by the government. The EIA data we are talking about mainly refers to the reserves report of crude oil , natural gas and other energy products. EIAs for natural gas are usually released every Thursday evening at 22:30.
