The conditions that the coal storage yard should have are:
- Except for the open-air coal storage plant, rainproof, snowproof and windproof facilities should be set up;
- The coal storage ground should be firm, level and free of debris. Generally , asphalt , asphalt protective layer and plastic should be avoided as base materials;
- Drainage system and water treatment system are set up under the coal yard and coal pile;
- The coal yard has mobile equipment for loading and unloading coal;
- There are magnets and other devices for removing iron filings and sundries;
- Set up coal temperature monitoring system.
