The new manatı is issued in coins of 1, 3, 5, 10, 20 and 50 kopecks, and banknotes of 1, 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 manatıs. The design theme of the new manatı is “independent Azerbaijan”, designed by the euro banknote designer Robert Kalina, and adopts new anti-counterfeiting technology.
