AMD to replace DuPont in S&P 100

Dow Jones Newswires, September 3, S&P Dow Jones Indices said on Friday local time that chip maker Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) will replace DuPont in the S&P 100 index starting September 19.

S&P Dow Jones Indices said: “DuPont no longer represents the giant-cap market and will remain in the S&P 500.

Also on Sept. 19, CoStar Group (CSGP) will replace PVH and Invitation Homes (INVH) will Replaced PENN Entertainment (PENN) in the S&P 500. PVH and PENN will be rolled into the S&P MidCap 400 on the day. S&P Dow Jones Indices said PVN and PENN are more representative of the mid-cap market.
