Top Performers and Decliners
Among the best performers of the session were TCC Group Holdings Co Ltd (TW:1101), which maintained its position at 32.45 with no change in points. Similarly, Asia Cement Corp (TW:1102) also closed unchanged at 46.60, while Chia Hsin Cement Corp (TW:1103) ended the day at 17.80, remaining unchanged.
Conversely, the worst performers mirrored the top performers, with TCC Group Holdings, Asia Cement, and Chia Hsin Cement all experiencing no change in their respective prices.
In terms of market breadth, falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Taiwan Stock Exchange, with a count of 0 to 0.
Commodity Market Update
In the commodities market, crude oil for November delivery rose by 3.24%, or $2.37, reaching $75.61 per barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for December delivery increased by 3.24%, or $2.48, to hit $79.06 per barrel. The December Gold Futures contract also saw an uptick, climbing 1.36%, or $35.65, to trade at $2,661.65 per troy ounce.
In currency trading, the USD/TWD pair declined by 0.33% to 32.18, while the TWD/CNY remained unchanged at 0.23. The US Dollar Index Futures edged up by 0.01% to 102.70.
