Colombian stocks ended the trading session lower on Monday, as losses in the Financials, Investment, and Public Services sectors weighed on the market. The COLCAP index fell 0.17%, closing at 11,600.00 points.
Sector Performance and Key Stocks
Among the top performers on the COLCAP, Cementos Argos Pf saw a notable gain of 9.85%, rising 1,040.00 points to 11,600.00 points. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia also gained 4.84%, adding 460.00 points to finish at 9,960.00, while Corporacion Financiera Colombiana rose 2.74%, closing at 15,000.00 points.
On the downside, Bancolombia SA dropped 2.01%, losing 780.00 points to close at 38,000.00, and Banco Davivienda Pf fell 1.23%, down 220.00 points to end at 17,620.00. Interconnection Electric SA ESP also declined by 1.20%, closing at 16,500.00.

Commodities and Currency Updates
In commodities, US Coffee for March delivery dropped 1.19%, settling at $318.80 per pound. Conversely, US Cocoa for March delivery surged by 11.03%, closing at $11,241.00 per ton. Gold futures for February delivery fell 0.39%, trading at $2,621.64 per ounce.
On the currency front, the USD/COP rose 0.15%, reaching 4,404.92, while the BRL/COP strengthened by 0.26%, ending at 712.99.
Meanwhile, the US Dollar Index Futures gained 0.08%, closing at 107.88.
