Anduril Seeks $2.5 Billion Funding Round at $28 Billion Valuation, Reports Say

Defense technology company Anduril is reportedly in talks to secure up to $2.5 billion in new funding, potentially doubling its valuation to $28 billion, according to multiple media sources on Friday. The startup, founded by Palmer Luckey, has already signed a term sheet for the funding round.

As of August, Anduril was valued at $14 billion, and this new round, if successful, would represent a significant jump in the company’s valuation in a relatively short time frame.

Luckey, who gained prominence after selling his virtual reality company Oculus to Meta (formerly Facebook) for $2 billion in 2014, has been a vocal supporter of former President Donald Trump.

Details surrounding the funding round, including the identities of potential investors and the expected timeline, remain confidential. Anduril has not issued an official statement regarding the reports of the funding raise.
