Bandhan Mutual Fund Launches Short-Term Debt Index Fund

Mumbai, March 7, 2025: Bandhan Mutual Fund has unveiled its new investment product, the Bandhan CRISIL-IBX Financial Services 3-6 Months Debt Index Fund. This open-ended, constant maturity index fund offers a structured short-term fixed-income investment opportunity for investors.

The fund focuses on investing in AAA-rated Certificates of Deposit (CDs), Commercial Papers (CPs), and Corporate Bonds issued by banks, non-banking financial companies (NBFCs), and other financial institutions. The key feature of the fund is its systematic roll-down strategy, which aims to reduce the duration from six months to three months. This approach seeks to capture short-term yield advantages, while also maintaining liquidity and minimizing interest rate risk.

The New Fund Offer (NFO) for this fund is open until March 11, 2025. Investors seeking a relatively safe and flexible investment in short-term debt instruments can consider this option to enhance their portfolio with attractive yields in the current market environment.
